“ Celebrating Youth Pledge Day”

Om Swastyastu,
The honorable the judges.
And all the blissfull youngsters, and audience.
Today, we’re going to celebrate again that historical day, namely “Youth Pledge”. Therefore, I’m grateful, let’s extend our prayers to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, the one and almighty, so that all of us, especially for youth generation could be given the power phisycally and mentally  in carrying on the stuggle in developing the nation to achieve a better life in the future. On this occasion, I would like to deliver a speech in commemoration of youth pledge day to re-mind us back to the spirit of unity.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Eighty nine years is a quite long time and journey for a generation of our nation that time. On October, 28th 1928 past, the Indonesia youths from all the elements of society gathered in Jakarta. They said a resolve in a pledge known as “ Youth Pledge”. The contents of the youth pledge are
1.      Kami putra dan putri Indonesia , mengku bertumpah darah yang satu, tanah air Indonesia
2.      Kami putra dan putri Indonesia , mengaku berbangsa yang satu, bangsa Indonesia
3.      Kami putra dan putri Indonesia menjunjung bahasa persatuan bahasa Indonesia
 Ladies and gentlemen,
Commemorating the youth pledge day should remind us as youth to maintain the spirit of unity to defend the independence of Indonesia. The spirit which had been made should be applied in everyday life, so that this nation can walk-in its history path iin accordance with the values of the youth pledge, pancasila, and the 1945 constitution.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Currently youth has lost the spirit of unite because of affected by this modern life. Even many criminals that arise are done by the youth. Drugs also playa huge role in destroying the spirit of the youth. In fact, they are the successors of the nation that will handle this country in the future.

Ladies and gentlemen,
In youth pledge day, let us re-establish a sense of unity. Youth pledge should be an inspiration to build the nation’s collective consciousness in order to improve the quality and competitiveness by maintaining the existence of youth in the global world.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Thank you for your attention. So that was speech I have to say, happy youth pledge day and may we always remain united in maintaining this independence. I’ll close by parama santih, Om, Santih, Santih, Santih, Om.

Long live the Indonesia youth!!!

Perbedaan Finish dengan done

Hi teman-teman, apa kabar??? Dikesempatan kali ini saya mau sharing nih apasih perbedaan finish dengan done. Langsung saja ya^^ Perbedaan yang pertama: Finish= verb 1 Done = verb 3 Namun arti dari kedua kata tersebut sama yaitu selesai. Jika ditelaah dengan baik konteksnya, sebenarnya  berbeda 180 derajat. Dan kalian bisa-bisa salah dalam mengartikannya.Contoh: Kalau dalam kasus pertama, seperti pada pertanyaan Have you finished your homework? Maka anda bisa menjawabnya dengan 2 (dua) cara, yaitu dengan jawaban yang lebih formal, seperti yes, I have finished my homework atau dengan jawaban santai dan casual, seperti yes, I'm done ! Perlu di ingat juga, bahwa kata finished memiliki makna yang lebih positif dan lebih baik untuk pertanyaan tugas seperti itu. Sedangkan done memiliki makna lebih negatif dan kurang baik ketika diterapkan dalam pertanyaan tugas seperti di atas.  Contoh kasus kedua, I'm done with you!! Bagaimana?
